Students Strike Back: Youth Life and the Promise of Post-Colonial Pakistan

Hashim Ali was a 2021 AIPS Short-Term Research Grant awardee and conducted research at the Punjab Archives in Lahore, Pakistan for two months. Ali's research focused on the separation of students during the times of colonization as a way to establish "historical context for the formation of youth-culture in the 1960s and the kinds of institutions that became laboratories of protest and social revolt."
