Ecologies of Water Theft in Pakistan: The Colony, the Corporation and the Contemporary

Maira Hayat was a 2019-2020 AIPS Fellow and conducted research in Pakistan for five months. Hayat's research focused on the Punjab Irrigation bureaucracy, agriculturalists, and development practitioners, seeking to understand why a specific World Bank project failed and how Irrigation officials make sense of that failure.
