Relationship between political competition and service provision

Rehan Jamil (Brown University) was a 2016 AIPS Short-Term Research Grant awardee who conducted 3 months of research in Karachi, Pakistan. Jamil sought to "identify the causal factors that explain why certain settlements [in Karachi] have much higher public goods provision, while others have little or none."
