K?f? Musical Performance and the Transmission of Locally Embedded Islam

Brian Bond was a 2015 AIPS Short-Term Research Grant awardee who conducted one month of ethnomusicological field research in Lahore. In his research, Bond "explored the ways in which k?f? performance serves as a musical means for the transmission of Islamic and Sufi teachings in contemporary Pakistan."
