Water, Dams, and Disasters in Postcolonial Peripheries: The Stories of Mirani Dam

Ahsan Kamal (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) was a 2014 AIPS Short-Term Research Grant awardee who conducted fieldwork in Lahore, Islamabad, and Turbat, Pakistan. Kamal's research contributed to the discourse of water politics and the complex experiences surrounding water and policy in Balochistan.
