The Poetics and Politics of Urdu Journal Culture in Pakistan

Zain Mian was a 2020 AIPS Short-Term Research Grant awardee and conducted research on Lahori media for ten weeks. Mian "worked in close collaboration with the GC University archives, which house the entire print run of Nuq?sh, a significant post-Partition literary magazine then edited by Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi and Hajra Masroor."
