Dr. Dastur Dhalla Library: Mapping Parsi Writing and its Literary Archive in Karachi

Sharmeen Mehri was a 2023 AIPS Short-Term Research Grant awardee and conducted research in Karachi for two months. Mehri's research documents the history of the Dr. Dastur Dhalla Library (popularly known as the YMZA library) and its contents, grasping the full picture of what affluent and/or influential Parsi figures of Karachi collected and wrote about and shedding light on the Zoroastrian community's cultural, social, and religious history within Pakistan.
