Afro-Asian Solidarity in Urdu Magazines, 1947-1990

Haider Shahbaz was a 2023 AIPS Short-Term Research Grant awardee and conducted research in Pakistan for four months. Shahbaz's research focuses on the anti colonial relations between Pakistan and Africa during a long period of decolonization, and specifically explores the ways in which radical Urdu magazines from Pakistan wrote about anti colonial social movements and literatures in Africa.
