Race, Visibility, and Vernacular Cosmopolitanism in a Pakistani Port Town

Zehra Husain was a 2019-2020 AIPS Fellow and conducted research in Pakistan for nine months. Husain's research focuses on Lyari Town, historically home to economic migrants from the Persian Gulf, and seeks to explore how marginalized communities influence national media representations through their own image-making practices.
