Pakistani Marxist poet Faiz Ahmad Faiz and his poem "Hum Dekhenge" have served as a rallying cry in protests in India and abroad against the Citizen Amendment Act which seeks to propose a religious basis for citizenship for refugees entering India from neighboring countries.
